Switched Up Poetry celebrates the end of summer with their inaugural S.A.D Party at The Peer Hat, headlined by Outlander star Caitlin O’Ryan. On October 26th, the final day of British Summer Time, a collection of the country’s finest poets will hit the stage alongside Caitlin to say goodbye to summer and ward off Seasonal Affective Disorder.
Caitlin, best known for her recurring role as ‘Lizzie Wemyss’ in the hit TV show Outlander, is headlining the event to celebrate the release of her debut poetry collection, ‘At What Point’ with Burning Eye books. The poem ‘At What Point’, about the cost of being a woman in today’s society, has amassed over 16 million views online, culminating in her being invited onto BBC Woman’s Hour. Her poems have been shared by the likes of Jameela Jamil, Natasha Bedingfield and Sarah Cox
